ABOUT THE ARTIST: DARWIN PETERS
Darwin Peters is a talented self-taught painter and muralist based in Pikangikum First Nation. His work has been sold internationally, and his murals are celebrated both locally and beyond. In Pikangikum, he has contributed several murals to the Eenchokay Birchstick School. In Toronto, one of his largest murals can be found on the south wall of the St. Lawrence Community Recreation Centre in the heart of The Esplanade, where it is enjoyed by hundreds of passersby every day.
